Each HD clip is downloaded as a zipped Targa image sequence. We tested and chose this format because:
1- Targa (.tga) files are lossless and retain embedded alpha channels.
2- It is a more stable download format over HTTP for large video files.
We recommend recompiling TGA sequences using Quicktime Pro.
To extract mattes, we recommend AfterEffects to invert the alpha channel when prompted during file import. |
| For Flash Designers: we highly recommend using AfterEffects to design, edit and export your clips into .FLV files. Be sure to export with the alpha channel. |
